InPhonic is a leading online provider of wireless services and devices. They sell wireless services and devices through private labeled websites that they create and manage for online businesses, affinity organizations and national retailers, as well as through their own branded websites.

They have developed a proprietary e-commerce platform that integrates merchandising, provisioning, procurement, customer care and billing operations into a single state-of-the-art system for activating wireless services and devices.

They leverage this platform and operational infrastructure to also operate their own mobile virtual network operator, or MVNO. Through the Liberty Wireless brand, they market and sell wireless services using a national wireless network. They have expanded their MVNO capabilities to enable communications service providers and consumer brands to offer a branded wireless service to their customers without having to own or operate the underlying wireless network or operational infrastructure. This allows potential MVNOs to focus on selling to their customers, while allowing InPhonic to manage the network relationships and operational infrastructure.

To further leverage the relationships they have established with customers through the sale of wireless services from wireless carriers, as well as their MVNO service, they sell a variety of data services, including unified communications, wireless e-mail and mobile marketing applications.

They are headquartered in Washington, D.C. and maintain their technology and operations center in Largo, Maryland.
